Description

Rolled Bat Service

Mail in your bat and we will roll it to be game ready!  

Composite bats are made of a carbon fiber, graphite and other composite materials.  They are held together by laminate glues.  These bats have been used and accepted in softball and baseball for the last 15 or so years.

Breaking in Period

Those that have played softball or baseball know that a composite bat in not  ” hot out of the wrapper “.    It takes upwards to a full season to get it broken in to its maximum performance.

Advantages of a rolled bat

  • Adds 20 – 50 feet of distance to a well hit ball
  • Can increase the life of the bat
  • Allows a player to hit a bat to its maximum hitting potential, instantly out of the wrapper

Bats are rolled to loosen up the fibers.  This happens naturally and or by rolling the bat in a bat rolling machine.  This gives it a trampoline effect once loosened.

This trampoline effect will add more distance to the flight of the ball.

    Excellent service. Received the bat back prior to a game, opted to use it with no practice and absolutely crushed the ball. Highly recommend rolling your kids bat. 12U

    When I buy a new composite bat it is standard that I send it to Gorilla Bats – I don't give it a second thought. Service is always prompt and I get it back with great pop right out of the box. I absolutely recommend this service.

    Mike and Gorilla bats is my go-to every time. I don't even think about it anymore – it's automatic (like breathing) – buy a new bat and send it to Gorilla. I've used Gorilla three times now and have gotten real results each time. I've referred others and they know what's up now too and are sold on this process.

    No fake news here. I'd have Gorilla Bats roll my bat in a minute – I'd never think twice about it. I only regret not having done it with past composite bats. Very happy with the pop we have right out of the gate.
