The slowpitch softball season is right around the corner, and that means it’s time to start preparing for each and every game.

There are only so many things you can do as an individual hitter and fielder, and since softball is a team game, it has to be a total team effort if you ever want to win it all.

1. Fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals -- It seems obvious, yet it cannot be overstated: fundamentals are the most important aspect of softball. You can have all the raw talent in the world, but if your team can't master the fundamentals of the game, you likely won't advance that far during playoffs.


2. Provide your team with hot softball bats -- You don't have to buy each individual player slowpitch bats, but getting a few juiced bats can really take your team to the next level.
